The Office of the Campus Veterinarian at Washington State University (WSU) is seeking a fulltime, permanent Assistant Director (AD) and Laboratory Animal Clinical Veterinarian for the Program of Laboratory Animal Resources (PLAR) at the WSU Health Sciences campus in Spokane, Washington
The Assistant Director reports directly to the Director of the Office of the Campus Veterinarian and works with the PLAR facility manager, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), administrators, faculty, and staff in the mission of providing excellent veterinary care and animal husbandry to benefit quality science and education. This position provides veterinary care, compliance monitoring, and investigator training as well as oversight over the centralized animal facility services
